Please read this if you are applying for a stall
You can apply for a stall through our website. We put up an application form page from the first day after the previous market and leave it up for 10 days. We let everyone know either way if they have a stall 3/4 days after the application's taken down.
- The market takes place the first Sunday of every month
- Stalls are € 30 for the day
- The rent will be taken on the day, we will come around to your stall in the afternoon
- The price of the stall is kept to a minimum so that your prices for the customer can be kept affordable
- If you feel you wouldn't have enough work to fill a stall you may share it with a friend and pay € 15 each
- Trading hours are from 12 to 5pm but you are free to start setting up from 10.30am. We will be there to direct you to your stall
- Parking is just outside the building - the Dublin Food Co-op, 12 Newmarket Sq, D8
- Tables and chairs are provided by the Co-op. If you need two people on your stall it would be handy if you had a little spare stool. If not we'll do our best to accommodate everyone ;)
- The table dimensions are roughly 2.5 ft by 4 ft, but there are different sizes
- The tables provided are very plain, so please bring a nice tablecloth or piece of fabric to cover it, and suitable displays for your wares so your stall looks as inviting as possible. Be imaginative with your space, it's your shop for the day
- Make sure to have plenty of change at the beginning of the day
- Nice packaging and carrier bags are very handy
- Consider bringing business cards if you have them or display some info about your business on your stall so the customers can contact you outside the Market if they want to
- If you have been offered a stall and cannot make it for whatever reason PLEASE let us know asap so we can allocate it to another person. Even if it is the day before we can possibly fill it.
- Please tell everyone about the Market, and if you would like to help advertise please print out our poster and stick it on your office noticeboard, car window, local shop window, anywhere you think people will see it. The success of the market depends on us all!!
